It's wedged between Atlanta Bldg and Beverly Place along Annapolis Street. Easy to miss while cruising along a row of restaurants here in busy Greenhills. On soft-opening night, but this dining place offering Turkish, Greek, Mediterranean cuisine had a fairly decent crowd.
The Turkish bread was delivered freshly-baked from its impressive wood oven fire to your table. Goes well with hummus, tsatziki, roasted eggplant dip, and other spreads.
The lentil soup prepped us for our dinners of beef and chicken doner. There was also a very generous serving of beef and rice which can be shared by 2 hungry diners.
Both main dishes paired well with yogurt and tomato sauces. You may also want to consider ordering Ayran, a very Turkish drink made from yogurt. Or stay safe with an apple shake or apple tea :-)
For desserts, we had baklava with pistachio nuts. And more apple tea to dull the very sweet dessert.
Drop in if only to savor the ekmek (Turkish bread), pita or lahmacun. You can't get it any fresher than this. In fact, you can watch it being kneaded, stretched, baked and pulled out of the oven!
